Sonya DiPietro began playing the piano at age 6, and has fostered her skill through many means over 15 years. She is a performer and church musician in Central Massachusetts, and has offered private lessons since 2013. She is the former choir director of St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Amherst, NH, and currently works for First Congregational Church of West Boylston in their music department. She is also the church pianist for a mission plant in Leominster, MA. In May of 2020, she will graduate from Anna Maria College with her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy with a minor in Psychology. Within that time, she has had the opportunity to perform as a featured soloist at college concerts. She has spent her clinical hours offering music therapy services to children of all ages and abilities at Perkins School for the Blind and UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center. 

Sonya continues to pursue piano teaching and coaching in the private setting. Her goals aim towards offering a space where children and adults of all ages and abilities can thrive and develop their relationship with the instrument.
